TODAY IN COMICVILLE

I'm currently on my annual vacation from The Fusco Brothers, and this is the strip my syndicate ran today, from 2003:

This is pretty funny, if I'm forced to say so myself. Maybe I should go on vacation more often.

Elsewhere in the comics today, Teresa Dowlatshahi slandered the Fuscos' reputation in her strip, Frog Applause:

As I wrote on her comments page on GoComics, that rattling was not the sound of Tic Tacs, but the sound of rosary beads. (The boys are quite devout.) What I didn't mention was that I've turned the whole matter over to my slimy, rabid attorneys, Dewey, Cheatem & Howe.

CONNIE AND SIGMUND

They said it wouldn't work out between a 54 year-old woman and a young buck of 23, but Connie and Sigmund set out to prove them wrong.

More than the age difference, what bothered people was the fact that Sigmund was a pair of scissors.

Weren't office supplies entitled to a chance at happiness?

RECYCLED CARTOON OF THE DAY

This cartoon appeared more than 90 days ago in Narrative Magazine, so I'm now contractually free to post it here.

I recycle things all the time.

Yet I feel no shame.

(About that, anyway.)
